Nebraska athletic officials sent a report from an internal investigation of infractions allegations against running back Thunder Collins to the NCAA on Thursday, more than a week after he was suspended.

Four years later, the star-crossed former Husker is trying to build new memories by finishing what he started in Lincoln.

Members of the football staff, in fact, have said Coach Frank Solich has not told them the nature of the violation or violations.

Along with the report, Potuto said, the university would file a petition to have Collins’ eligibility restored for the Oct. 5 game against McNeese State.
