Return to Halloweentown is a Disney Channel Original Movie that premiered on October 20, 2006.

In this sequel, Marnie Piper and her brother, Dylan Piper , go to Witch University to attend college in Halloweentown.
On the eve of Halloweetown’s 1000th anniversary celebration, Witch University student Marnie Piper must enlist the aid of two close friends in order to finally reveal a long-buried secret hidden in an ancient prophecy.
Marnie has just won a full scholarship to the prestigious Witch University in Halloweentown, and she’s eager to begin studying up on alchemy, amulets, and magic potions.

With the help of Benny the Skeleton, Aneesa the Genie, and Professor Periwinkle, Marnie must defeat the evil forces trying to control her magic and uncover the secret of an ancient prophecy.
At the school witches and warlocks can’t do magic, instead they learn about Shakespeare and old magic history.
While Marnie is all set to become Witch University’s most popular coed, the new ban on magic at the school poses something of a problem for the young witch eager to realize her true powers.
Now, in order to ensure that Halloweentown’s Millennial Celebration goes off without a hitch, Marnie will call on her old friends Ethan and Benny the Skeleton in addition to seeking out the wisdom of new pals Professor Periwinkle and Aneesa the Genie.
It has also been said by Lucas Grabeel and Sara Paxton that they filmed a kiss for the end of the movie, but for some reason was cut in the editing.
He uses it again secretly and learns that the box contains the Gift, though the Gift itself remains unknown to them.
Marnie realizes that her principal and Dr. Grogg are in the Dominion and Splendora bestows her with the key to the box containg the Gift.
