Chupacabra Found - or was it the Bigfoot

A Chupacabra?

A Chupacabra?

What is the difference anyway? They are both creatures of our fantasy. Or maybe not?

Phylis Canion lived in Africa for four years. She’s been a hunter all her life and has the mounted heads of a zebra and other exotic animals in her house to prove it. But the roadkill she found last month outside her ranch was a new one even for her, worth putting in a freezer hidden from curious onlookers: Canion believes she may have the head of the mythical, bloodsucking chupacabra.

Phylis Canion holds a photo of what she is calling a Chupacabra in Cuero, Texas, Friday, Aug. 31, 2007. She found the strange looking animal dead outside her ranch and thinks it is responsible for killing many of her chickens.

Canion and some of her neighbors discovered the 40-pound bodies of three of the animals over four days in July outside her ranch in Cuero, 80 miles southeast of San Antonio. Canion said she saved the head of the one she found so she can get to get to the bottom of its ancestry through DNA testing and then mount it for posterity.

The creature Phylis discovered looks like a hairless dog with strong vampire teeth coming out of his mouth. Phylis has a theory regarding the weird animal. She thinks it is a cross of three or four rases. It is possible that this Chupacabra she found may be a genetical mutation or cross that developed a special appetite for blood instead of meat. Anyway, the animal that Phylis discovered was weighting about 20kilograms.

Canion believes the animal is the chupacabra, a cryptid beast known in rural folklore in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the United States. Its name translates to “goat sucker” from its alleged penchant of drinking the blood of livestock like a vampire. The Chupacabra is sometimes blamed for the disappearance and loss of goats, chickens and other farm animals.

More weird stuff is happening in Texas (what are they doing down there?). The last one was a giant 200 yard spider web made by social spiders. Now a hunter claims to have found the mythical chupacabra. If you’re going, “What?”, welcome to the club.

Was it a Chupacabra or a Bigfoot they found? I am not sure.

Possibly one which is suffering from dermititis. Ive never heard of a Chupacabra before lol. Just because the animal is rare, looks strange, and drinks blood, does that really make it mythical?

While there has been much coverage of the Chupacabra phenomenon, there has been almost none about the incitement to violence of Palestinian children by fluffy cartoon characters. Hopefully, now that the Chupacabra has turned up in Palestinian Romper Room, his fame will bring some much needed attention to this little noticed phenomenon.

The animal was male and weighed between 15 and 20 pounds, she said. The identical animal that sprinted across the road ran with it’s head down and it’s tail between it’s legs, according to Womack, but wasn’t tall enough to be a coyote or a wolf. She said the live animal is probably the dead one’s mate. 1

Texas - Phylis Canion lived in Africa for four years. “It is one ugly creature,” Canion said, holding the head of the “They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

And no, this isn’t the first finding. Many people claimed to have found it before. But none were the Chupacabra. This probably won’t be the last time that the Chupacabra gets discovered.

Chupacabra or not, the discovery has spawned an international craze. Canion is selling $5 T-shirts that read: “2007, The Summer of the Chupacabra, Cuero, Texas,” all over the world.

Canion has started selling T-shirts that read: “2007, The Summer of the Chupacabra, Cuero, Texas,” accompanied by a caricature of the creature. The $5 shirts have gone all over the world, including Japan, Australia and Brunei. Schaar also said he has one.
